Alexander and Wayne Tasting Room
NOTE: Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, we are currently tasting outside. Our temporary “tasting room” is located on the right side of the Tasting Room. Access is from the sidewalks.
As we do our part in the fight against the Covid-19 Virus, we are complying with the orders of government officials regarding social distancing, masks and sanitation. Masks are required on the premises when not tasting. We do not reuse any customer materials and we sanitize each pouring location after each customer. Come and visit Alexander and Wayne. Our Tasting Room is located in downtown Los Olivos between Highway 154 and the flagpole, and next to the R Country Store and the Los Olivos Gallery, in front of Arthur Earl. Los Olivos is the wine capital of Santa Barbara county with over 30 tasting rooms, restaurants, boutiques, shops and a boutique hotel.
Once lauded as the “friendliest tasting room”, our knowledgeable and experienced staff will walk you through our wines with traditional California varieties, mostly native to the Burgundy and Bordeaux regions of France, all grown here in Santa Barbara county. They will also often discuss wine and food pairing and why and how to taste wine. We let you choose the 5 wines you would like to taste from our list of mostly red wines, both regular and Platinum Series wines. Our white wines are bright and crisp, while our red wines are complex and full bodied. Our winemaker likes to emphasize the fruit component of our wines. There is usually one or more dessert wines.
In addition to our wines, we also offer a limited but popular selection of complementary food items and miscellaneous merchandise.
Our tasting fee is $10.00 and you can keep the 18 oz. logo glass.
