Our people are our most important asset. We have a great group of employees who have been with us from 2 to 20 years. They are all very knowledgeable and dedicated to their jobs, and will try very hard to make your experience a fun one.
Arthur White ~ Winemaker
Art joined his friend Earl Brockelsby in founding Santa Ynez Wine Corp., parent of Arthur Earl in 1992. Art has been the President and Winemaker of Arthur Earl since its beginning in 1997. Art’s prior background was in IT for 25 years, mostly in applications systems, as IT Director and owner of a software company. Art can be frequently found in the Tasting Room greeting customers and talking about wine, food and travel.
Nancy White ~ Tasting Room and Wine Club Manager
Nancy is a native of Santa Barbara who has been with Arthur Earl since the beginning. She took on her current roles after 24 years of experience in elementary education. She holds court in the Arthur Earl tasting room where she is known to most of our customers for educating her new students on our wines, wine tasting and food.
Alexis LaFavor ~ Tasting Room
Alexis has been with Arthur Earl for over 18 years. In addition to working in the tasting room, she is also our bookkeeper. Alexis knows our wines and our history and is always happy to help you with any questions related to the wines or our wine clubs. Outside of work Alexis occupies herself with her animals, hiking and baking.
Mika Hutton ~ Tasting Room
Mika has lived internationally and speaks several languages. She has been with us for over 2 years and knows our wines very well. She loves to talk about food and especially wine and food pairing. She will also encourage you to taste some of our food products along with the wines you are trying.
Jose Figueroa ~ Winery Production Manager
Jose has been with us for over 20 years. He is Art’s go to guy in the winery where he performs most of the day to day operations. Jose is also the company’s unofficial mechanic, carpenter, etc., taking care of all those little issues that always seem to come up. When he is not working, Jose is busy with his family including 3 boys who are all active in sports.
